Walk Cycle


 Initially, I had tried to be a little too ambitious with this one.

My plan was to have the walk cycle for about 5-6 seconds, then have the character short hop and do a few cycles of flying with their wings rapidly flapping. I actually had about half of this sketched out, but decided against it. Instead I wanted to try actually having smoother lines and playing more with the bounce of individual aspects, such as the neck fur and wings.

While I've done a lot of walk cycles in 3D before, the 2D cycle felt more enjoyable. Maybe this is due to how many issues 3D programs tend to give me, but also I prefer the control of drawing rather than manipulating a rig though bone animation.
